This design uses the slip stitch technique to produce this textured mosaic colourwork. You are only using one colour of yarn for each row which makes it an easier way to add colour to a project. You are also doing short row shaping to create the difference in depth along the shawl. There is also an interesting picot edge along the length and triangular contrast ends to the wrap.

The design uses 6 hanks in total using 3 different shades of the Rowan Island Blend.
I have also shown an image of the wrap knitted using the Rowan Creative Linen. which uses 1 hank of each shade.
This design uses a 4mm (US 6)  circular needle.
